Welcome to IRO 2008
The International Robot Olympiad Committee (IROC) would like to invite you to the 10th International Robot Olympiad (IRO) to be held at the Cultural Activity Center (CAC), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Jalan Gombak, 53100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 17 - 21, 2008.
'Robot Olympiad' is a science, technology and educational event aimed at offering promising youngsters an opportunity to expand their horizons by introducing them up-to-date technology along with the existing Olympiads including The International Mathematical Olympiad, Physics Olympiad, Chemistry Olympiad, etc.
The IRO also provides an exhibition-style setting for robot-related organizations and industry to exhibit, promote and demonstrate their product or prototypes which are of reasonable physical size.
